Kyle
Lasky
Kyle Lasky is a community organizer, designer, and photographer. Kyle started designing and building websites on an iBook in the early aughts, and soon expanded their love for useful design to branding and printed media.
For Vandersall Collective, Kyle creates visual brand identity and design systems for our clients, as well as implementing web, online and print design solutions for a range of audiences and messaging strategies.
Kyle co-founded and runs Transanta, a mutual aid project that connects anonymous gift-givers with trans youth who are unhoused, in foster care, or otherwise without crucial support they need to thrive. Through sharing impassioned letters from trans youth and linking them directly to gift registries, Transanta quickly saw viral success and has facilitated the giving of over $4 million in critical gifts for trans youth since launching in 2020.
Kyle comes to us from a Fine Arts background, having studied photography and shown work across Northern America. As an artist, they are interested in contributing to a living archive of the queer experience. Kyle’s photographic work centers on trans* and queer identities.
Kyle is passionate about good design, modernist architecture, science-fiction, and intersectional feminism.
