Wellness calls

We know that each of you has a unique voice, and that you also possess a unique understanding of the culture of communication that exists among your peers and donors. This script is not meant to be read verbatim, but rather to guide your conversation. We hope that these questions will support you in learning how folks are doing, what their giving motivations are, and their relationship to the organization.

We acknowledge that you’ll be making these calls after the election, and potentially during a fraught moment in which we’re all waiting to learn the outcome. We know that could make a wellness call feel particularly challenging. While these calls are, of course, a donor strategy, they’re also how you will collectively create a more robust culture of community.

We believe Flight Path’s impact will be even more profound in the midst of this larger election reality because your organization invites people into community and hope, and into the “transformative change agent” that dance is.

Phone call

This is ___from Flight Path Dance Project. Post-election we are calling folks from our donor community to check in and see how you are. It has been quite a time! We are grateful for being able to channel our energy into the dancers and our upcoming show at this time–to do something concrete that gives us hope.

Voicemail

This is ___from Flight Path Dance Project. We are calling folks from our flight path community to check in and show how much we care about you. It's important to us, especially right now as we are in a time of national transition, to reach out and check in on one another.

I am calling to ask how you are doing and if there is anything we can do to show we care.

Please give me a call at your convenience so we can catch up together. And please remember. I am just a call away if you need anything in the days and weeks ahead.

Bye!
